This section describes how to trigger automatic diagnostic snapshots.

Overview

The EdgeView allows users to create triggers for events like an application crash or kernel crash to generate a diagnostic snapshot. These diagnostic snapshots provide information that help in understanding and debugging the cause of the failure. The diagnostic snapshot is generated as a T-Info file. Download the T-Info file from the Diagnostics File tab or the Notifications page. Email notifications are also sent upon execution of the trigger.
