Use this procedure to check the software versions on the Edge 8000 device:

  • Edge 8000 system build (which contains the analog and router software)
  • SBC SWe Edge software

This procedure applies to all Edge 8000 Series devices.

Prerequisites

  • System Administrator login access to the web-based Edge 8000 Series user interface
  • System Administrator login access to the web-based SBC SWe Edge user interface

Start

  1. Check the version of the system build.
    1. Log in to the Edge 8000 web-based user interface as System Administrator.
    2. From the main menu, select Home.
      This displays the version and build number of the Edge 8000 system.
  2. Check the version of the SBC SWe Edge software.
    1. Log in to the SBC SWe Edge web-based user interface as System Administrator.
    2. Click the System tab.
    3. Click the Overview tab.
      This displays the version number and build number of the SBC SWe Edge software.
