Use this procedure to check the status of licenses in the Edge 8000 device:

  • Analog license (Applies to the Edge 8300 device only)
  • Router license
  • SBC SWe Edge license

This procedure applies to all Edge 8000 Series devices.

Prerequisites

  • System Administrator login access to the web-based Edge 8000 Series user interface
  • System Administrator login access to the web-based SBC SWe Edge user interface

Start

  1. Check the status of the analog and router licenses.
    1. Log in to the Edge 8000 web-based user interface as System Administrator.
    2. From the main menu, select License.
      This opens the menu showing the license status of the Analog and Router licenses.
      Verify that the Analog and Router licenses are valid.
    3. Log out of the Edge 8000 user interface.
  2. Check the status of the SBC SWe Edge license.
    1. Log in to the SBC SWe Edge web-based user interface as System Administrator.
    2. Click the Settings tab.
    3. In the navigation pane, select System > Licensing > Current Licenses.
      This opens the menu showing the current license status of the SBC SWe Edge license.
      Verify that the SBC SWe Edge license is valid.
    4. Log out of the SBC SWe Edge user interface.
