The SNMP command set used in this chapter is similar to the command set used by other SNMP products. These commands are NET-SNMP open source and are as follows:

snmpget | gets information on an attribute |
snmpgetnext | gets information on the next attribute |
snmpset | sets the value of an attribute |
snmpwalk | runs a series of snmpgetnext until the tree is all done Note: Must be used on a very small subtree. |
