Configuring SCCP NAs
Create an SCCP Network Appearance (NA) to receive the intercepted incoming GSM traffic and also to send and receive INAP Initial-DP queries destined to External NP Partners.
Note
An External NP Partner might be located on a different NA. Create an associated SCCP NA as required.

Configuring External NP Partners
The External NP Partner object represent the NP database information for a given partner. Each partner is uniquely identifier by its Application ID attribute.

Viewing SCCP Registrations
You can view SCCP Registrations after activating all NAs to confirm that the PCSSN and AppID registrations are successful on their respective NAs.
The SCCP PCSSN Registration is used to intercept the INAPGW SS7-related traffic on the configured SCCP NA for a given PC-SSN combination. These registrations are automatically created for every SCCP NA based on the associated Local Point Code (LPC) and the INAP subsystem number.
The SCCP AppID Registration is used to intercept the INAPGW SS7-related traffic on the configured SCCP NA for a given Application ID. These registrations are automatically created for every SCCP NA based on the reserved Application ID SONUS_INAPGW_ME and configured External NP Partners’ Application ID.
Note
The INAPGW application has reserved Application IDs. For more information, refer to Reserved Application IDs for SS7 Applications.
