SP2000 Manual Configuration Backup

Use the following procedure to perform a manual backup using the DSC Web UI. This procedure runs the selected backup type immediately and only one time. 

For automated backup, refer to Automated Backup Configuration. The automated backup backs up the selected backup type on a specific day(s) at a specific time, or every day at a specific time.

Prerequisites

•  You have defined the destination for the backup files. Refer to SP2000 Defining a Backup Destination.

Start

1. In the DSC-SP2000 Web UI, click Backups.
2. Click Manual Configuration Backup.
   
   
   
3. Click the button under Fileset Definitions to indicate which configuration files you want to back up.
4. Click the button under the Destination Definitions to select the backup destination.
5. Type any notes regarding the backup as required in the Backup Notes text box.

6. Click Create Manual Backup.
