If you have to log onto the Management CPU or the Routing and Management VM, do one of the following.

  • For the DSC 8000, log onto the Management CPU using the IP addresses that you have assigned to slot 2 (p19p1.3), slot 13  (p19p2.5), or the shared IP interface (p19p1.3:0 or p19p2.5:0).
    For information about the DSC 8000 Ethernet configuration, refer to Ethernet Connectivity for the DSC 8000.

  • For the DSC SWe Platforms (on KVM, on VMware, and on OpenStack), log onto VM1 or VM2 using the IP addresses that were assigned to mgt0, mgt1, or the shared IP during installation.

    Note

    If you have to perform a provisioning task on any of the DSC Platforms using an SSH connection, do not log onto the shared external IP interface.

    If using MobaXterm to establish the SSH connection, use MobaXterm version 21.1 or later.
