Description

This event indicates that there is an error writing the MTP3 NA Manager configuration file to disk. Recent changes may not have been committed to persistent storage. A configuration file write could fail for a number of reasons, including but not limited to:

  • disk full
  • file permissions
  • temporary file and real file are on different mount points

If the cause is not evident, the corresponding syslog entry may have more details.

If this alarm is raised, follow these steps to check the disk and memory usage.

  1. Log in to the Web UI as root.
  2. From the System Main Menu, click System Details.
  3. Make note of the Disk Information and Memory Summary for each CPU.

    Note

    Information for the Routing CPUs of both mated pair STPs.

  4. Contact Customer Support and provide the information you have collected.
