Description

GTT OPC Loop Detection discarded messages. This event will clear automatically if no messages are discarded by OPC Loop Detection for 5 minutes.

Recommended Action

If this alarm is raised, follow these steps

  1. Log in to the Web UI.
  2. Retrieve ptidbglog.

    1. Search for "LoopDetect(DISCARD)", which appears on the first line of the log entry.

    2. The log entry should contain 4 lines.

      1. The first line contains the DB Def, NA, and PCList.
      2. The second line contains the DPC that is found to be the same as the original OPC of the message.
      3. The third line contains the called information of the message.
      4. The forth line contains the calling information of the message.
  3. Using the message data from the log entry, examine the GTT configuration associated with the message.  Also examine the routing configuration of remote signaling nodes along the message's data path prior to entering the DSC system.
