The DSC - SP2000 Platform functions as a client on the IP network.
The open sockets on the DSC - SP2000 Platform that are listening as servers are displayed showing the local and foreign addresses, send and receive queue sizes (in bytes), and the internal state of the protocol. The address format used is host:port or network:port if a socket’s address specifies a network rather than a specific host address.
To view client connection information
- From the Main Menu, click IP Networking.
- Click IP Utilities.
- Click Open Sockets.
- Using the Open Sockets on drop-down list, select the card that you want to obtain open sockets information about.
- Click Update.
