The Signaling Platform 2000 (SP2000) collects and stores operational measurement data in the /var/stats file. In addition for the SP2000, all measurement reports are amalgamated into one file and are stored in the /var/stats/ossinterface/oms directory in the following sub-directories, depending on the time period interval for which the operational measurements are compiled.

  • /var/stats/ossinterface/oms/5min
  • /var/stats/ossinterface/oms/30min
  • /var/stats/ossinterface/oms/day

The data measurement reports are presented in a comma separated value (CSV) format.

The filename format depends on the time period interval that the operational measurements are compiled and is configured as follows:

SP2000X.<IP address>-SP2000X.OMs.<period>.yyyy-mm-dd-hh.mm.ss<+/->hhmm.csv

Examples of each filename are as follows:

  • SP2000X.10.91.14.41-SP2000X.OMs.5min.2012-08-02-15.00.30+0000.csv
  • SP2000X.10.91.14.41-SP2000X.OMs.30min.2012-08-02-15.00.30+0000.csv
  • SP2000X.10.91.14.39-SP2000X.OMs.day.2012-08-07-00.00.30+0000.csv

The /var/stats/ossinterface/oms directory is monitored for available space and elapsed time.

A new user, sp2ksftp, is created who can access the data measurement reports through IEMS/GVM. This user is provided with permissions to the /var/stats/ossinterface/oms directory to remove the data measurement reports using SFTP as required.

Note

Because the RADIUS does not assign roles that are incompatible with the SFTP on this directory, the sp2ksftp user cannot be validated with RADIUS Maintenance.
