Modifying System Location and System Contact Data

Execute the steps in the following procedure to modify system location and system contact data.

To modify system location and system contact data

1. Log onto one of the Management CPUs or Management and Routing VM1 or VM2.
   
   
2. From the Main Menu, click IP Networking.
   
   
3. Click SNMP.
   
   

4. Do the following:

   1. Change the Syslocation to the required location of the DSC system. 
      This location is displayed when SNMP users inquire about the system location.

   2. Change the Syscontact to the required contact.
      This entry is displayed when SNMP users inquire about the system contact.

      The Syslocation and Syscontact entries are limited to 64 characters.

      Syscontact only allows alphanumeric, comma, and hyphen.

      Syslocation allows any characters.

5. Click Commit.
