You can delete an Object using the RowStatus value 6 (destroy).

Because SNMP does not send responses, you need to issue an snmpget to verify if the link has been deleted.

There are multiple reasons that could cause a deletion command to fail. For example, before deleting a link, the link must be deactivated and a linkset cannot be deleted while it contains links. For more information about deleting links, see the appropriate chapter of the SS7 Application Guide 1 and SS7 Application Guide 2.

To delete a link, use snmpset as follows:

snmpset -c private <host name>
.1.3.6.1.4.1.1556.17.15.46.65.64.53.55.1.1.254.1.1.1.1.131841.65536 i 6
