In accordance with GR-82-Core, Signaling Transfer Point (STP) Generic Requirements (A Module of FR-CCS-18), Issue 10, December 2006, the Ribbon Signaling Systems support Memory Space Accounting (MSA). For more information about how this feature applies to Message Transfer Part Level 2 (MTP2), see the appropriate chapter in the Platform Manager User Guide.
After you completed provisioning the AMC348 card, you can proceed with provisioning the following:
- Low-speed Channels, also referred to as time division multiplexed (TDM) channels (see Configuring TDM Signaling Channels)
- High-speed Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) Channels (see Configuring the ATM Channels)
- High-speed Annex A Channels (see Configuring Annex A Signaling Channels)
