You must create and configure an SUA Application Server (see To create an SUA Application Server) to configure an SUA Application Server.

The Traffic Mode attribute has the following three values:

  • OVERRIDE - the ASP takes over all traffic in an Application Server (for example, primary/backup operation), overriding any currently active ASPs in the AS.

  • LOADSHARE - the ASP shares in the traffic distribution with any other currently active ASPs.

  • BROADCAST- the ASP receives the same messages as any other currently active ASP.

The SUA ASP status displays the ASPs that are connected to the SG for a specific Application Server.
