The name of an Application ID Definition is defined in the DSC Definitions (refer to Creating Application ID Definitions).
The lookup of the Application ID Definition is case insensitive; if a match is found, the user input is updated to match the capitalization of the target Application ID Definition name and the target is marked in use (reference count).
To create a Pool Application ID
- From the Main Menu, click DSC.
- Click the required DSC Instance (if more than one DSC Instance is defined).
- Click DSC Nodes.
- Click Server Pools.
- Click the required Server Pool Name.
- In the Pool Application ID row, click Create.
- Enter the Application ID (defined in Creating Application ID Definitions).
- Click Create.
To view a Pool Application ID
- From the Main Menu, click DSC.
- Click the required DSC Instance (if more than one DSC Instance is defined).
- Click DSC Nodes.
- Click Server Pools.
- Click the required Server Pool Name.
- Click the required Pool Application ID.
Tip
Clicking the green arrow beside the Application ID attribute displays the Application ID Number and the associated Application ID Name.
