Configuring a Modification Record allows you to modify or trace the respective message when assigned to a specific Routing Record. For an example message flow through see Figure Routing Tables with a Modification Table with Optional Modification Table (Example).
To create a Modification Table
- From the Main Menu, click DSC.
- Click the required DSC Instance (if more than one DSC Instance is defined).
- Click DSC Routing Tables.
- In the Modification Record Selection row, click Create.
- Configure the required attribute.
- Click Create.
Tip
To delete a Modification Table, click X in the same line that this table appears on the DSC Routing Table Selection screen.
To view a Modification Table
- From the Main Menu, click DSC.
- Click the required DSC Instance (if more than one DSC Instance is defined).
- Click DSC Routing Tables.
- Click the required Modification Table.
To create a Modification Record
- From the Main Menu, click DSC.
- Click the required DSC Instance (if more than one DSC Instance is defined).
- Click DSC Routing Tables.
- Click the required Modification Table.
- In the Modification Table Selection row, click Create.
- Configure the required attributes.
- Click Create.
Tip
To delete a Result Record, click X in the same line that this record appears on the Result Record Selection screen.
- From the Main Menu, click DSC.
- Click the required DSC Instance.
- Click DSC Routing Tables.
- Click the required Modification Table.
- Click the required Modification Record.
- Configure the required attributes.
- Click Continue.
