In this section:

The Connection Port allows you to group connections together by creating more ports under the same connection. This is useful in the case of diameter where an incoming and outgoing connection must be configured to sit on the same slot for the handshake to work.

Note

Up to 100 Connection Ports are allowed for each connection.

The following procedures are used to create or delete Load Balancer Connection Ports.

Note

A Connection Port cannot be created or deleted if the connection transport type is IPSec. Change the connection transport type before creating port connections, refer to Configure a Connection.

To Create Connection Port

  1. Login to the Web UI.
  2. Click Load Balancer.
  3. Do one of the following:
    1. If there is only one Load Balancer configured on system, proceed to step 4.
    2. If there are multiple Load Balancers configured on system, select the appropriate Load Balancer (LB_1 or LB_2).
  4. Click Connections.
  5. Select appropriate Connection.
  6. For Connection Ports Selection, click Create.
  7. Configure the required attributes.

  8. Click Create.

To Delete Connection Port

  1. Login to the Web UI.
  2. Click Load Balancer.
  3. Do one of the following:
    1. If there is only one Load Balancer configured on system, proceed to step 4.
    2. If there are multiple Load Balancers configured on system, select the appropriate Load Balancer (LB_1 or LB_2).
  4. Click Connections.
  5. Select appropriate Connection.
  6. Select appropriate Connection Port.

  7. Click Delete.
