Recommended Action
If this alarm is raised, follow these steps
- Log in to the Web UI
- Retrieve ptidbglog
- Look for "OPC Validation failed" near the time of the alarm.
- The log entry should contain two to three lines, showing the point codes of the message and the first 30 bytes of the message.
- Look for "OPC Validation failed" near the time of the alarm.
- Using the message data from the log entry, examine the routing configuration along the expected path that would result in the message to enter the DSC system with an invalid OPC.
