Description

This event indicates that a route is no longer accessible because it failed the ANSI Circular Route Detection Test (CRDT).

Recommended Action

If a route is PROHIBITED_CRDT, then the route is marked unavailable because an ANSI Circular Route Detection Test (CRDT) has detected a loop in the MTP3 routing in the network towards the affected destination.

When the routing issue is resolved, follow these steps to perform a Reset State action on the affected route to return it to normal function.

  1. Log in to the Web UI as root.

  2. Locate the Alarm.   
    1. Click on the critical alarm count in the Alarm Dashboard.

    2. Click on this alarm number.

    3. Click on the date of the occurrence.

    4. Click Associated UI Object.

  3. Click Reset State.
