Recommended Action

The connection to the LSMS is down. You need to validate the network connectivity between the LSMS and the STP. If there is connectivity, determine if the LSMS application is running.

If this alarm is raised, follow these steps.

  1. Is the LSMS reachable? Check for network connectivity issues by logging into the SDA Sysmgr card with the HA IP address and attempt to ping the LSMS. The resulting ping should show the connection between the two platforms.

  2. Is the LSMS application running? Log into the LSMS and retrieve the status. The GUI should be active. If not the software should be restarted.
