A routeset is a set of signaling paths (in other words routes) from a given signaling point towards a specific destination with relative priority.
To view a routeset state
- From the Main Menu, click MTP3.
- Click the required NA.
- Click Routesets.
- Click the routeset you want to view (see Table Routeset State and Destination State, Table Routeset Congestion Level Status (SS7 Variant = ITU), and Table Routeset Congestion Level Status (SS7 Variant = ANSI) for Routeset status message description).

ACTIVE | The routeset is active and available. |
INACTIVE | The routeset is inactive and is unavailable. |
XLIST | The routeset is an XLIST entry. XLIST indicates that the routeset was dynamically created by the MTP3 and has exceptions such as some routes may be unavailable. |
Destination State |
ACCESSIBLE | The destination is accessible through the preferred (least expensive) route. |
INACCESSIBLE | The destination is not accessible. |
ACCESSIBLE-ALT | The destination is accessible through a route other than the preferred route. |
Routeset Congestion Level Status (SS7 Variant = ITU)
