The following section is only applicable to the DSC Platform.
Before you start the SNAMI configuration, make sure that you have completed the following tasks:
- installed and powered up the Ribbon Signaling Systems (if required)
- completed the initial configuration tasks (if required)
- set the system date and time (if required)
configured the required passwords and familiarized yourself with the system UI (if required)
For information about the preceding procedures, refer to the appropriate sections in the Installation Guides and the DSC - SP2000 Platform Manager User Guide .
- configured the required MTP Level 3 (MTP3) NAs (refer to Configuring Network Appearances in the SS7 Application Guide 1).
- configured the SCCP NAs if required (refer to Configuring the Signaling Connection Control Part).
- configured the GTT NAs if required (refer to Configuring the Global Title Translation).
