The Tone Package entity is used to create node for tone package. This object creates and configures a tone package, which defines a set of call progress tones for a given country or carrier. Tone packages are configured by assigning tone types to tone profiles. You may add a tone type to a tone package. You may delete a tone type from a tone package. You may modify a tone type within a tone package by specifying a different tone profile. The tone package name may be used by the toneAndAnnouncementProfile in the Packet Service Profile.

To View Tone Package

On the SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Media Profiles > Tone Package.

The Tone Package window is displayed.

To Edit Tone Package

To edit any of the Tone Package in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Tone Package name.

The Edit Selected Tone Package window is displayed below.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Tone Package

To create a new Tone Package, click New Tone Package tab on the Tone Package List panel.

The Create New Tone Package window is displayed.

To Delete Tone Package

To delete any of the created Tone Package, click the radio button next to the specific Tone Package which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click Yes to remove the specific Tone Package from the list.
