In this section:
Create and manage the list of secondary SIP servers for automatic failover.
- Choose VoIP > SIP.
Click Create to open the List of SIP Servers table.
- The List of SIP Servers table contains the following information:
- Lookup Status – Shows the server status.
- Priority – Shows the server priority.
- SIP Server Address/FQDN – Specifies the SIP Server IP address or a fully qualified domain name (FQDN).
- Port – Specifies the SIP server or SBC port.
- Action – Allows you to change the SIP server's priority and to remove entries.
Manage a List of SIP Servers
To manage SIP servers In the List of SIP Servers table:
Click Delete All to remove all entries.
- To delete an individual SIP server entry, click the Delete icon corresponding to that entry.
- Change the priority of the SIP server using the Move Up or Move Down icons.
Add New SIP Server
To add a new SIP Server to the List of SIP Servers:
In the SIP Server Address/FQDN field, enter the IP address or the FQDN of the SIP Server. The servers you enter in this list, including those resolved by an SRV lookup of an FQDN, will be used by Edgemarc's Survivability function.
NoteThe Survivability function will use the servers included in the List of SIP Servers.
In the Port field, enter SIP Server or SBC port.
- Change the priority of the SIP server using the Move Up or Move Down icons.
- Click Add. The new SIP Server Address is added to the List of SIP Servers table.
- Click Submit to apply your configuration changes. For more information on submitting your changes, refer to Submit Configuration Changes.
