The SBC Core supports H.323-H.323 calls with an audio and video stream. Unlike SIP video where all codecs are relayed through the SBC, H323 only supports a subset of the video codecs supported via SIP. The codecs are: The video stream is allowed to pass-thru if the Packet Service Profiles used for both legs of the call allows video; i.e have a non-zero value for video bandwidth. This object is the H.323 Trunk Group for this zone. The SBC 7000 system supports creating IP Interface Groups containing sets of IP interfaces that are not "processor friendly" (i.e. carried on physical Ethernet ports served by separate processors). However, restrictions exist regarding the usage of such Interface Groups. (This ability does not apply to the SBC 5400, which has only two physical media ports. You may configure the IP interfaces from the two physical ports within the same IP Interface Groups without restrictions.) For complete details, refer to Configuring IP Interface Groups and Interfaces. On the SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Trunk Provisioning > Trunk Group > H323Trunk Group. The H323Trunk Group window is displayed. Trunk Group - H323Trunk Group The H323Trunk Group can be checked for each Address Context or for each Zone or for all the Address Contexts and Zones created. Use the drop-down box to select the desired Address Context and Zone. To edit any of the H323Trunk Group in the list, click the radio button next to the specific H323Trunk Group name. The Edit Selected H323Trunk Group window is displayed below. Major Qos Asr Limit Specifies the major ASR limit below which, the call admission should be reduced. The value range from 0 to 90. This parameter controls the number of called address digits to be collected before performing the 1st policy query during overlap receiving. If this is 0, then this parameter is irrelevant in controlling policy query. Ldc Rel Cause Specifies the Q.850 release value to use should the call be released due to long duration call timer expiry. Ldc Emergency Calls Specifies whether the Emergency Calls should be excluded from Long Duration Call Media IP Interface Group Name Specifies the Interface group to be used for media. Source Address Filtering If enabled, filter out incoming media packets which do not match the expected source IP address and UDP port. Direct Media Allowed If enabled, attempts to set up a direct-media path so that media flows directly between endpoints in the same direct-media group. If disabled, set up the path so that media transverses the SBC. Direct Media Group ID Specifies the direct media group to which this trunk group belongs. The value range from 0 to 65535. The default value is 0. Pre allocate Res Pad Specifies whether a resource pad is pre-allocated during an incoming fast start call procedure that results in G.711 codec selected for the call or not. The options are: Specifies whether an ingress H245 Slow Start should be converted to a forward offer at egress (e.g. Fast Start) or passed thru as a reverse offer (e.g. Slow Start). The options are: Ans Supervision Timeout This is the maximum time (in seconds) from egress call setup to egress receiving an answer. Crank Back Profile Specifies the name of the Crank Back profile. Respect Bearer Capability Specifies whether to accept unchanged the Bearer Capability Information element values received in H.225 SETUP or not. The options are: To copy any of the created H323Trunk Groups and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific H323Trunk Groups to highlight the row. Click Copy H323Trunk Group tab on the H323Trunk Groups List panel. The Copy Selected H323Trunk Group window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited. Trunk Group - H323Trunk Group Copy Window Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied H323Trunk Group is displayed at the bottom of the original H323Trunk Group in the H323Trunk Group List panel. To delete any of the created H323Trunk Group, click the radio button next to the specific H323Trunk Group which you want to delete. Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row.
