Use this command to assign a DNS Group to a specific zone.

To assign a DSN Group to an address context, see DNS Group - CLI.

Note

The SBC Core supports up to eight DNS servers per DNS group. The SBC 5xx0/5400/7000 platforms support up to 2,048 DNS Groups system-wide. The SBC SWe supports up to 128 DNS Groups. Refer to SBC Provisioning Limits for additional provisioning limitations. 

Command Syntax

% set addressContext <addressContext name> zone <zone name> dnsGroup <DNS server group name>

The name of the zone. You can configure signaling, media, and control for a zone in the address context.

Zone name is unique across all address contexts.

dnsGroup

N/A

The name of the DNS Server Group for this zone.
