SBC Edge Portfolio TDM port configuration

Use the following to configure a SBC Edge Portfolio TDM port to interconnect to another TDM port/device.


  1. Access the WebUI.

  2. Set the DS1 Type of the ports on your TDM card, either T1 or E1 depending upon your installation situation. 

    More information on the TDM port configuration parameters can be found at Managing Telephony Ports.

  3. Configure the TDM port parameters to match with your installation.

  4. Create a ISDN Signaling Group to process inbound calls from the TDM port.

  5. Configure the ISDN Signaling Group to match the requirements of the incoming TDM signaling.

  6. Create and configure call routing tables/entries, transformation tables/entries and destination Signaling Groups in order to successfully route calls from a ISDN port to any given destination.
