SBC Core supports forking of media streams to a Media Capture Tool (MCT). The criteria for recording calls is configured in PSX and when a call meets the criteria, PSX indicates the need for media forking in the Policy Response sent to the SBC. This object allows you to configure the MCT server where the captured media is sent.
To View the MCT List
On the SBC main screen, go to Troubleshooting > Call Trace/Logs/Monitors > Monitor Configuration > Monitor Endpoint > MCT or
All > Global > Monitor Endpoint > MCT
The MCT window is displayed.

To Create an MCT
To create a new MCT object:
Click New MCT on the MCT List window. The Create New Mct window is displayed.
Use the following table to configure the options and then click Save.
Parameter | Description |

Name | Specifies the name of the MCT. |
Trunk Group | Specifies the name of the trunk group used by the Media Capture Tool (MCT). |
IP Address | Specifies the logical IP address of the interface. |
Port Number | Specifies the UDP/TCP port number of the SIP signaling oort. Default is 5060. |
State | Specifies the administrative state of the Media Capture Tool. The options are: - Disabled (default)

To Edit an MCT
To edit an MCT object:
- Select the MCT from the MCT List window by clicking the radio button next to it. The Edit Selected MCT window is displayed.
- Make necessary changes and click Save to save the changes.
To Copy an MCT
To copy an MCT object:
- Select the MCT from the MCT List window by clicking the radio button next to it.
- Click Copy MCT on the MCT List window. The Copy Selected MCT window is displayed.
- Make necessary changes and click Save to save the changes. Click Undo Edits to cancel all changes.
To Delete an MCT
To delete an MCT object:
- Click the delete (X) symbol at the right of the row containing the server name that you want to delete. A dialog box pops up, asking for confirmation of deletion.
- Click Yes to confirm deletion when prompted.
- Click Ok to complete the deletion process.
