In this section:
The Qos based routing can be applied both from the signaling and the media perspective. The focus is to provide a mechanism to calculate the various KPI used to measure signaling Qos related routing parameters and use them to take intelligent decisions to route a call. There are mechanisms to improve these KPIs or route the call alternately also. Some of the QoS-related parameters (ASR and R-Factor) are already supported by SBC.
The Signaling Qos KPI Profile is associated with a IP Signaling Profile which in turn can be associated to an IP Peer or IP signaling peer group or trunk group as a part of IP Signaling Profile. The following signaling Qos KPI parameters can be modified:
On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Signaling Profiles > Signaling Qos Kpi Profile.
The Signaling Qos Kpi Profile window is displayed.
