Use this object to view, edit, copy, and create the licenses required for certain features of the SBC. For information on the features that require license, see Required License - Field Description.
To view the required licenses, on the SBC main screen navigate to Administration > System Administration > License Management > Network License Settings > Required License. The Required License window is displayed.
The Required License window consists of two tables:
License Info List - A table that displays detailed information on the network licenses used by the SBC. For information on the parameters displayed on the table, refer to Table 1: License Info List of the page License Management - Local License Settings.
Required License - License Info List (Network)
Required License List - A table that displays information on the network licenses required for proper functioning of certain features of the SBC. For information on the parameters displayed in this table, see Required License - Field Description. Apart from viewing the required licenses, the Required License List table is equipped with tools for editing and copying existing licenses, as well as creating new required licenses.

To Edit a Required License
To edit a required license:
Click the radio button adjacent to the license's name in the Required License List table.

The Edit Selected Required License tool is displayed.

- Make necessary changes in the fields used to identify a required license. The field
Feature Name
is a drop-down list. For more information on the fields , see Required License - Field Description. - Click Save to save the changes, or Cancel to cancel the changes.
- After successful update, a confirmation message is displayed. Click OK to complete the process.
To Copy a Required License
To copy an existing required license:
Click the radio button adjacent to the license's name in the Required License List table.

- Click on the Required License List table.
The Copy Selected Required License tool is displayed.

- Make necessary changes in the fields used to identify a required license. The field
Feature Name
is a drop-down list. For more information on the fields , see Required License - Field Description. - Click Save to save the changes, or Cancel to cancel the changes.
- After successful update, a confirmation message is displayed. Click OK to complete the process.
To Create a Required License
To create a new required license:
- Click on the Required License List table.
The Create New Required License tool is displayed.

Make necessary changes in the fields used to identify a required license. The field Feature Name
is a drop-down list. For more information on the fields, see Required License - Field Description.
- Click Save to save the changes, or Cancel to cancel the changes.
- After successful creation, a confirmation message is displayed. Click OK to complete the process.
The fields displayed in the Edit, Copy and Create tools are are:

Field | Description |

Feature Name | The name of the feature for which a license is required. Select the feature's name from the drop-down list adjacent to the field. Min Count
| The minimum number (1-256000) of licenses the SBC needs to acquire from the license server for the feature's deployment (the feature selected from the Feature Name drop-down list). |
Max Count
| The minimum number ("Unlimited" or 2-1000000) of licenses the SBC needs to acquire from the license server the feature's deployment (the feature selected from the Feature Name drop-down list). |
To Delete a Required License
To delete a required license:
Click the radio button adjacent to the license's name in the Required License List table.
Required License - Selected
- Click the Delete icon at the right end of the row containing the required license in the Required License List table.
A dialog-box is displayed, asking for confirmation of deletion.
- Click Yes to confirm, or No to cancel the deletion.
- After successful deletion, a confirmation message is displayed. Click OK to complete the process.
