This object allows you to configure SIP Peer Overload Control parameters.
To View and Edit Sip Peer Overload Control
On SBC main screen, go to All > Global > Signaling > Sip Peer Overload Control.
The Sip Peer Overload Control window is displayed.

The following fields are displayed:

Parameter | Description |

Sampling Period
| Specifies the sampling period (in seconds) for the Peer Overload backoff algorithm. The value ranges from 1 to 10 and the default value is 2 seconds. |
Discard Period
| Specifies the discard period (in seconds) for the Peer Overload backoff algorithm. The value ranges from 1 to 10 and the default value is 2 seconds. |
Step Down Gain
| Specifies the step down gain for the Peer Overload backoff algorithm. The value ranges from 1 to 200 and the default value is 100. |
Reject Threshold
| Specifies the reject threshold (in rejects/sec) for the Peer Overload backoff algorithm. The value ranges from 0 to 50 and the default value is 1. |
Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
