Specifies the parameters associated with Digit String Manipulation for Dm Pm Rule.

To View and Edit Digit String Manipulation

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Digit Parameter Handling Profiles > Dm Pm Rule > Sub Rule > Digit Manipulation > Digit String Manipulation.

Select the desired Dm Pm Rule and Sub Rule from the drop-down list to view its respective Digit String Manipulation parameters.

The Digit String Manipulation window is displayed.

The following fields are displayed:

Start Digit Position
 		The start digit position (range: 0-29 / default = 0).
Number Of DigitsNumber of digits (range: 0-30 / default = 0).
Action

The action to take when the matching criteria is met (used for international gateway support involving setting NOA to ‘International’ and adding country code):

  • addDestinationCountry
  • addIngressTrunkGroupCountry
  • addOriginatingCountry
  • none (default)

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
