8153 LongMsuUnsupportedSet

This event indicates that a long MSU message has been received and was discarded in an attempt to route on a linkset, user part or app id that does not support Long MSU messages.

This event will persist for the duration of the timer Long MSU Discard Interval from the time of the last discarded long MSU.

Possible causes include incorrect setting of the Long MSU Support option for the linkset, or a user part or app id is not registered as supporting long MSUs.

Another cause could be an adjacent node or user part that could be sending long MSUs without the correct NA configuration in the Maximum MSU Length attribute.

Check that the provisioning is correct. See the syslogs and debug logs for more details on the MSUs that were discarded.

Freq -this trap will occur while long MSUs are being sent to a linkset, user part or app ID, for the duration defined by the NA attribute Long MSU Discard Interval.

If another Long MSU is discarded during the interval, then the timer restarts. When the interval timer expires, the dashboard alarm is removed.
