Use this window to work with Home Public Land Mobile Network (HPLMN) ID objects. HPLMN IDs are created within HPLMN profiles. In networks supporting the S8 Home Routing (S8HR) roaming model, calls from users identified as outbound roaming users are processed so that any emergency calls are handled by the visited network rather than the home network. User location information for a call (the PLMN ID) is compared against the IDs configured in HPLMN profiles and Visited Public Land Mobile Network (VPLMN) profiles to determine whether the user placing the call is an S8HR outbound roaming user.
Refer to Emergency Call Handling for the Roaming Users in S8HR Model for more information.
On the SBC main screen, go to All > Profiles > Services > Hplmn Profile > Hplmn ID. The Hplmn ID window opens with the IDs for all HPLMN profiles listed.
