The following fields are displayed:
When you enable Signaling Packet Capture
without any configuring any signaling filter (the default behavior), the SBC creates a default filter using all the configured signaling IP addresses and ports. The default filter collects only the first fragmented IP packet and ignores the rest. This happens because the UDP/TCP ports are also included in the default filter, but the IP packet fragments except the first fragment does not include the relevant headers. For the same reason, even if you create a filter which includes only the Local Port Number
, the fragments except the first one are not captured.
To capture all packet fragments, create a Signaling Packet Capture
filter with specific Local IP Address
, or Peer IP Address
, or both, and then enable Signaling Packet Capture
.
To copy any of the created Filter and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Filter to highlight the row.
Click Copy Filter tab on the Filter List panel.
The Copy Selected Filter window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.
Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Filter is displayed at the bottom of the original Filter in the Filter List panel.
To delete any of the created Filter, click the radio button next to the specific Filter which you want to delete.
Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.
Click Yes to remove the specific Filter from the list.
Before making any change to the filter, or before creating a new filter, change the Signaling Packet Capture Timer State flag to "Disable".
Once the filter is changed/created, re-enable the State flag.
