Use this procedure to install a Router license for your Edge 8000 device.Refer to Edge 8000 Series Product Overview: Licensing for an explanation of available options when initially placing an order or later upgrading. Refer to Return a Defective Product (RMA Process) for the case of an RMA action.

Prerequisites

  • Administrator (admin) login access to the Edge 8000 WebUI

Start

  1. Log in to the Edge 8000 web-based user interface as user administrator (admin).
  2. From the main menu, select License.
    This opens the menu showing the feature details of the Analog and Router licenses.
  3. Select Router from the drop-down menu.
  4. Copy the license information you received from Ribbon into the empty license box.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Verify that the license features you see match the features you ordered.
