The X-Header profile controls mapping of X-Headers to ISUP parameters in a specific environment. The X-Header Profile is customer proprietary and is intended for their use only.

A default X-header profile is available, which has the values pre-seeded for all mandatory parameters. You cannot delete or modify this profile. However, you can create additional X-Header profiles change values, as required.

To View X-Header Profile

On the SBC main screen, choose a path:

  • Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Signaling Profiles > XHeader Profile
  • All > Signaling > Profiles > Signaling > XHeader Profile

The XHeader Profile window is displayed.

To Edit X-Header Profile

To edit an XHeader Profile in the list, click the radio button next to the specific XHeader Profile name.

The Edit Selected XHeader Profile window is displayed below.

To Create X-Header Profile

To create a new XHeader Profile, click New XHeader Profile tab on the XHeader Profile List panel.

The Create New XHeader Profile window is displayed.


X-Header Profile Parameters:

NameThe unique name of the X-Header Profile. Up to 23 characters are allowed

To Copy X-Header Profile

To copy any of the created XHeader Profile and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific XHeader Profile to highlight the row.

Click Copy XHeader Profile tab on the XHeader Profile List panel.

The Copy Selected XHeader Profile window is displayed.

Expand/collapse window:  



Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save. The copied XHeader Profile is displayed at the bottom of the original XHeader Profile in the XHeader Profile List panel.

To Delete X-Header Profile

To delete any of the created XHeader Profile, click the radio button next to the specific XHeader Profile.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click OK to remove the specific XHeader Profile from the list.
