This section explains the Configure IDP feature of EdgeView.

Overview

The IDP Configuration section allows users to configure Identity Provider to login EdgeView with external users.


Configure IDP

To Configure IDP:

  1. Log in to the EdgeView as evadmin.
  2. In the General Settings tab, scroll down to IDP Configuration section.

          

       3. Click the edit pencil icon.  Enter a name for the IDP, upload the IDP metadata file (obtained from your Identity Provider), and click Save.

           

       4. After logging out of evadmin, the login screen now has a new button for login with user from IDP.

           


To Delete IDP configuration:

  1. Log in to the EdgeView as evadmin.

           

        2. In the General Settings tab, scroll down to IDP Configuration section.

        3. Click the edit pencil icon.  Click Delete button.

             

         4. User is prompt to confirm the deletion of IDP Metadata. Click Continue to confirm deletion, or click Cancel to return to previous screen.
