Scenario
The SBC performs complex route selection across multiple carrier networks.
- System is installed in a service-provider's network interconnecting two of its customers.
- The User Equipment is pre configured with a DNS server which can return multiple SBCs to contact.
- The SBC has sufficient routing intelligence to determine which carrier (A or B) hosts the subscriber.
- Costs and performance/quality for routing may be predetermined preferences or vary based on a range of factors, including TOD/DOW, current load etc.
- The requirements specified in the section "Background Information and Dependencies" of Minimal Out-Of-The-Box Configuration are met.
- Ports and IP Interface Groups have been configured as described in NNI: Complex route selection
