(SWe) on a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) server with Intel processors running VMware ESXi or KVM Hypervisor, or the OpenStack cloud platform. Ribbon offers two options for customers who prefer a turnkey solution, based on the following servers:- HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8 server (click here for the QuickStart Guide)
- Dell EMC PowerEdge r740 (click here for the Quick Start Guide)
Contact your Ribbon representative for information.
When installing the Dell EMC PowerEdge R740 server into your network, you must log into the Dell website at https://www.dell.com/support/assets-transfer/us/en/04#/Identify to update the physical address/location of the physical server. If this is not done, you will not receive hardware repair support for the Dell server.
