This document describes the recommended procedure to resize the hard disk for the SBC SWe on VMware.
Use the following steps to resize the hard disk:
Create an Instance with a 100GB hard disk (for example).
- Install the ISO and the application.
Check the df -kh output.
Configure the SBC and save the configuration.
Save the configuration backup outside the SBC VM for loading/restoring the configuration after ISO installation.
Power Off the VMs.
Increase the hard disk size. For example, from 100 GB to 150 GB.
Connect the ISO file.
Power On the VMs.
Start the ISO Installation.
Start the Application Installation.
- Log in to the SBC.
Check df -kh output again.
- Check the SyncStatus.
- Copy the backed up configuration to the SBC for restoration.
Load the Config Backup.
Check the swinfo.
The disk resize procedure is complete.
