Use this window to work with Visited Public Land Mobile Network (VPLMN) ID objects. VPLMN IDs are created within VPLMN profiles. In networks supporting the S8 Home Routing (S8HR) roaming model, calls from users identified as outbound roaming users are processed so that any emergency calls are handled by the visited network rather than the home network. User location information for a call (the PLMN ID) is compared against the IDs configured in VPLMN profiles and Home Public Land Mobile Network (HPLMN) profiles to determine whether the user placing the call is an S8HR outbound roaming user. If the PLMN ID for the user matches an ID configured in the VPLMN ID profile, the user is identified as an S8HR outbound roaming user.
Refer to Emergency Call Handling for the Roaming Users in S8HR Model for more information.
On the SBC main screen, go to All > Profiles > Services > Vplmn Profile > Vplmn ID. The Vplmn ID window opens with the IDs for all VPLMN profiles listed.
