Use the CFT window to configure the ingress confirmation tone for a Signaling Profile.

To View and Edit CFT

On the SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Signaling Profiles > Signaling Profile > Ingress > CFT or
All > Profiles > Signaling > Signaling Profile > Ingress > CFT

Select a Signaling Profile from the drop-down list. The CFT window is displayed.

Use the following table to select a value  and then click Save.

Parameter Description
Send CFT Information

When this check box is selected, for SIP calls, the egress SBC will send confirmation tone (CFT) information (whether the call is considered On-Net or Off-Net) to the SIP server. The options are:

  • Disable (default)
  • Enable
Cft Info For Early Backward Message

Specifies the default value for the confirmation tone information when routes are absent from the policy response for SIP calls. The options are:

  • Offnet
  • Onnet
  • Unknown (default)

Note: This option appears when you enable Send CFT Information.
