Disable the Platform Mode access when the Dod Mode is enabled.

Note

The Platform Manager is not accessible through the EMA when the Dod mode is enabled.



Enabling the Dod mode disables the CLI and Platform modes. By default, this option is disabled.

To View and Edit Dod

  1. On the SBC main screen, navigate to to All System AdminDod.
  2. Observe that the Dod window is displayed.
  3. Select the Admin from the drop-down box to view the Dod parameters.

The parameters are described below:

Use this control to enable or disable DoD mode.

Cli Access

Use this control to enable CLI for temporary troubleshooting and diagnostics in DoD mode.

  • Disabled (default)

Enabling CLI lowers the security posture of the SBC


Pm Access

Use this control to enable PM for temporary troubleshooting and diagnostic in DoD mode.

  • Disabled  (default)
  • Enabled

Enabling PM lowers the security posture of the SBC.



When you enable Dod mode, a warning message stating "Enabling dod mode will disable CLI and Platform Manager. Disabling dod mode will enable CLI and Platform Manager." is displayed. Click OK to enable Dod mode.


Likewise, when you enable Cli Access mode, a warning message stating "Enables CLI for temporary troubleshooting and diagnostic. Enabling CLI will lower the security posture of this unit."  is displayed. Click OK to proceed.


When you enable Pm Access mode, a warning message stating "Enables PM for temporary troubleshooting and diagnostic. Enabling PM will lower the security posture of this unit." is displayed. Click OK to proceed.
