The Signaling Packet Capture configuration is described in this section. The Signaling Packet Capture data is stored in a ".PKT" file under /var/log/sonus/evlog/evlog location.
Note
In the absence of any device or filter configuration, the Signaling Packet Capture feature only captures SIP/H.323 signaling for calls which are traced by Call Trace Filters.
On the SBC main screen, go to Troubleshooting > Troubleshooting Configuration > Call Trace > Signaling Packet Capture.To View and Edit Signaling Packet Capture
The Signaling Packet Capture window is displayed.

The following fields are displayed:
Signaling Packet Capture Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Signaling Packet Capture Timer | The signaling packet capture timer, in minutes, for both call and error trace filters. The value ranges from 0 to 360 minutes, with a default value of 180. |
| State | Use this flag to enable/disable signaling packet captures by enabling/disabling the timer.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
