Specifies the object containing CAC-Limits that apply to a set of Trunk Groups.

To View Shared Cac Limits Pool

On SBC main screen, go to All > Global > Cac > Shared Cac Limits Pool. The Shared Cac Limits Pool window is displayed.

To Edit Shared Cac Limits Pool

To edit any of the Shared Cac Limits Pool in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Shared Cac Limits Pool name.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Shared Cac Limits Pool

To create a new Shared Cac Limits Pool, click New Shared Cac Limits Pool tab on the Shared Cac Limits Pool List panel.

Specifies the name of the shared Cac-Limit pool.

Parent Shared Cac Limits Pool Name

Specifies an existing shared Cac-Limit pool.

Call Limit

Specifies the total number of concurrent calls (either ingress or egress) allowed. The value range from 0 - 2000000000 calls.

Call Limit
Threshold

Specifies the concurrent calls notification threshold. The value range from 0 - 100%.

Bandwidth
Limit

Specifies the total media bandwidth limit in K bits/second. The value range from 0 - 2000000000 k bits/second

Bandwidth Limit Threshold

Specifies the bandwidth utilization notification threshold. The value range from 0 - 100%.

Emergency Oversubscription

Specifies the oversubscription of resources (As percentage) that is allowed for emergency calls. When the baseline call limit and the bandwidth limit are reached, normal calls will be blocked and only emergency calls will be allowed up to this additional percentage. The value range from 0 - 100%.

Registration
Limit

Specifies the total number of concurrent SIP registrations allowed. The value range from 0 - 2000000000 registrations.

Subscription
Limit

Specifies the total number of concurrent SIP subscriptions allowed. The value range from 0 - 2000000000 subscriptions.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes.

To Copy Shared Cac Limits Pool

To copy any of the created Shared Cac Limits Pools and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Shared Cac Limits Pool to highlight the row.

Call Rate Max

Specifies the maximum sustained ingress call rate allowed in calls per second. (range: 1-450, or unlimited.SBC Core range is 1-1350, or unlimited).

You can set both “callBurstMax” andCallRateMax” as unlimited; however, if you assign a value to one parameter, the other must also be assigned a value.

Call Burst Max

Specifies the maximum allowed burst size (above the allowed sustained rate) for ingress call attempts, in calls per second. (range: 1-900, or unlimited.SBC Core range is 1-2700, or unlimited).

Register Rate Max

Specifies the maximum sustained ingress rate (registrations per second) of initial SIP registrations allowed. (range: 1-1000, or unlimited.SBC Core range is 1-3000, or unlimited)

You can set both “registerBurstMax” and “registerRateMax” as unlimited; however, if you assign a value to one parameter, the other must also be assigned a value.

Register Burst Max

Specifies the maximum allowed burst (above the allowed sustained rate) for ingress initial SIP registrations. (range: 1-1000, or unlimited.SBC Core range is 1-3000, or unlimited)

Call Limit

Specifies the total number of concurrent calls (either ingress or egress) allowed on ingress. The value ranges from 0 to 2147483647 or unlimited (default).

Emergency Oversubscription

Specifies the oversubscription of resources (as a percentage) that is allowed for emergency calls. The value ranges from 0 to 1000 and the default value is 10.

Entended Emergency Ip Limit

Specifies the maximum sustained ingress rate (registrations per second) of initial SIP registrations allowed. The value ranges from 0 to 40000 and the default value is 0.

Subscribe Rate Max

Specifies the maximum sustained ingress rate (subscribes per second) of initial SIP subscribe request. (range: 1-1000, or unlimited.SBC Core range is 1-3000, or unlimited)
Subscribe Burst MaxSpecifies the maximum allowed burst (above the allowed sustained rate) for ingress initial SIP subscribe request. (range: 1-1000, or unlimited.SBC Core range is 1-3000, or unlimited)

Other Req Rate Max

Specifies the maximum sustained ingress rate (requests per second) of other out-of-dialog SIP requests. (range: 1-1000, or unlimited.SBC Core range is 1-3000, or unlimited).

Egress

Call Rate Max

Specifies the maximum sustained egress call rate allowed in calls per second. (range: 1-200, or unlimited. (range: 1-450, or unlimited.SBC Core range is 1-1350, or unlimited).

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Shared Cac Limits Pool is displayed at the bottom of the original Shared Cac Limits Pool in the Shared Cac Limits Pool List panel.

To Delete Shared Cac Limits Pool

To delete any of the created Shared Cac Limits Pool, click the radio button next to the specific Shared Cac Limits Pool which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click Yes to remove the specific Shared Cac Limits Pool from the list.
