Playing Early Guidance When Receiving a Specific Header

Overview

When there is an optional guidance transmission identifier (for example, Early-GDS: on) header in the Initial-INVITE from the au network, the system connects to the guidance, and transmits the Initial-INVITE to the opposite network after the guidance is played.

The identifier headers are deleted when transmitting to the opposite network.

This is accomplished through a PSX script.

The SBC includes an announcement script having the proper announcement ID for playing the guidance announcement. The SBC plays the announcement received from the PSX script. After the announcement is complete, the  script directs the system to establish the egress call.
