Never Power Off the ASM via Remote-Desktop

Always power off the ASM via the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 WebUI. If you have mistakenly shutdown the ASM via remote desktop - the only way power the ASM back on is as follows:

  • Sonus SBC 1000 — Issue an ASM Hardware Reset via the WebUI
  • Sonus SBC 2000 — Physically power-cycle the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 unit
