As part of the Operation, Administration, and Troubleshooting activities, the DSC - SP2000 Platform provide comprehensive management functions through its user interfaces including administrative tasks such as managing passwords, viewing licensing information, reconfiguring the system hostname and Ethernet interfaces (if required), configuring the Network Time Protocol (NTP) server, and setting the system date and time. The system management software monitors IP networking, linksets and links, routesets and routes and provides information about system alarms and event monitoring.
